This book is about Tom and Elenna going out to free Ferno. Malvel, the evil wizard, has made the beasts of Avantia become bad. The beasts protect Avantia. Tom gets chosen to free the beasts from Malvels curse. Tom got a sheild, a sword, a map and a horse called Storm. He traveled through the forest. He passed a girl with a wolf and her name was Elenna. Elenna joined his team. He eventually reached Ferno, so he battled Ferno. Tom won! Tom got a scale from Ferno to put on his sheild.
